Karen loves and believes in the power of philanthropy and nonprofits. She built her career around these passions not only as a frontline fundraiser, speaker, trainer, teacher, consultant and coach but also as a donor, volunteer and board member.

Nationally and internationally recognized, Karen receives invitations from all over the United States and the world. For 18 of Karen’s 41 years in the profession, she served in senior positions at colleges and universities. For the past 23 years, Karen served first as President and now as Senior Strategist at The Osborne Group.

The Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) awarded Karen the Crystal Apple for Outstanding Teaching and Public Speaking. In 2014, CASE presented Karen with the Ashmore Award for Outstanding Service to the Profession. Karen is an adjunct faculty member for Johns Hopkins University’s graduate certificate program in nonprofit management. She is also a debut novelist. “Getting It Right,” was published in June 2017. Her second book, Tangled Lies, will be available through the conference platform.

Mazarine Treyz is a nonprofit leadership coach, speaker and best selling author of “The Wild Woman’s Guide to Fundraising”, serving people in over 70 different countries.

Mazarine specializes in helping nonprofit leaders with fundraising goals through authentic relationships both online and offline. As a result, clients have doubled monthly donors, taken their schools from 10K to 170K in recurring revenue, and created their own global nonprofits.

Mazarine has co-founded a nonprofit and has over a decade of experience as a nonprofit fundraiser in small shops. Today, Mazarine leads the nonprofit workplace justice movement to create a better nonprofit work culture through her writing, training, podcast and keynote speeches.

Co-host of the Name It! Podcast, featured on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify. She’s featured in The Chronicle of Philanthropy, and NonprofitPro as well as many other outlets. She has spoken around the world including England and Jamaica, as well as AFP International Conference multiple times. She’s also directed 10 online conferences.
